This year my Mom and Dad celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. I decided to try and pull a sneaky and make it a surprise party. Well, by golly, it happened. They were totally fooled into thinking they were going with Ryan and Emily to a restaurant grand opening in Galena. They got all gussied up thinking they were going to be special guests at the restaurant and were special guests here at our house instead. Friends and family came from Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
