Today we found out that our re-finalization court date for Joseph's adoption will be Wednesday, December 9th. That will be yet another check mark in the DONE column. This court date is a formality in the US and will legally changed Joseph's name to Joseph from Yosef. (This court date got moved to March 25, 2010 because Iowa has a law that the child must be home for at least six months before this re-finalization is held.)

Refinalization day will soon be over and the only thing left is post-placement reports until he turns 18 :-)
