Do you know who is 7,669.21 miles away from us? Our SON Joseph. We passed court!!!!!

Please allow me to introduce the latest addition to the Lockhart family. This is Joseph Duane Lockhart and it's official he is now a Lockhart. That's right, we passed court and now we have to figure out all of the particulars of traveling 7,669.21 miles in order to bring our SON home. It feels so good to write the word son with the knowledge that yes, he is indeed legally our son.

We have been so very fortunate to have gotten through the adoption process in such a short amount of time. We are thankful to everyone that has helped us from the very beginning which believe it, or not, just began November 15, 2008. Family and friends provided much needed prayers, letters of reference and support along the way. Our agencies: Hillcrest Family Services, Building Arizona Families and Dove International did an excellent job of leading us through the adoption process while answering questions and offering an immense amount of support too.

We are ready to bring Joseph home and start sharing the rest of our lives with him. We are so blessed!
