Courts will stay open

I received the following email from our agency with GREAT news for so many families who have been praying that the courts will stay open during the rainy season and it appears that they will. What fantastic news!

MOWA Conference Follow Up
The Ethiopian Ministry of Woman's Affairs have returned from their conference and resumed work on pending adoption cases. The Ethiopian Federal First Instance Court will be ruling on court cases during the months of August and September this year in an attempt to clear up back-logged files. For this rule to apply files must be lodged into the courts and assigned a court date by Friday, August 7, 2009.

All files that have not been logged into the courts and assigned a court date prior to August 7, 2009 will be lodged into the courts once they resume regular operations at the end of September 2009.
