A thought provoking night-April 1, 2009

Just sitting here pondering the thought that our son is in Ethiopia at this very moment. Since we’ve asked for a 2-4 year old it means that he’s already born and has been experiencing the world without else. What a heart-stopping thought that is. I just wish we could give him a hug and let him know it’s going to be okay. I wish we could comfort him when he’s sad and wondering what the future holds and how it will be different from the past. Hang in there buddy and we’ll try to do the same. There’s a lot of prayers heading your way.
